My 372 xtorque seems to be developing a bog/ lack of power when stumping or cutting with the bar buried. The saw still starts and runs/idles great. Im running a .50 gauge 24 inch bar with full comp oregon chain, i have lots of chains for it some are semi comp. The saw is a 2012 model and has cut probly 35 cords of wood. It just seems it used to run a little better. I do take my rakers down a bit more than some but nothing to crazy.
What kind of maintenance has been done? Start with the easy stuff...air filter change, fuel filter change, clean spark arrest screen. Using fresh clean fuel?
How is your carb set ? We've had a recent change to much colder temps . Probably the same where you are . If your carb was set close to lean in warmer weather , and it's a fair bit colder now ,you could be running leaner than you may be aware of . Limited coils don't do you any favors here either ,as they can fool folks into thinking that the carb is rich ,but it's really bouncing off the rev limits .
