    I do like the survival aspects. I'll confess as I was about half way dug out I did start wondering what the Donner party must have felt like!

    Yep... don't know what it is... but being snowed in can be very cool... for a while anyway. Somewhere in my great grandfather's journals he talks about it being his turn to "roll" the roads. Horse drawn huge roller that packed the snow down making it easier for the horses pulling sleds or cutters. Pretty easy to imagine those days.
