So true!! My son is almost 22 and probably won’t be home much longer and my daughter is in college. Wife helps a little when she can but these 24” pieces are too heavy for her.

    Sweet.

Hey Jason, you might want to check the RH end on that last row. Looks like it could be leaning out a bit. Better to catch it now if it is leaning.

Our stove will take a 24", and 20 is about as long as I've cut yet, for that very reason. Unless they are smaller splits. So far, its easier to use 16-18, and fill the ends with shorts.

The pallet flexed on me here and that left crib is concerning. Maybe I’ll wrap a layer or 3 of plastic wrap in the mid to upper part to add insurance.

A local hoarder offered to let me borrow his electric kenetic splitter. I’m going to use it on this to see how much I like it.

Just looks like an outside lean there. Might not be a deal buster but it is good if you catch those early. I remember one time I was almost done but had to go away from it. When I came back, from a distance I saw it. Ticked me off so I tore it apart and fixed it then.

Good question. Boss replied to my fb post and said "there's more where that came from". He ain't lyin'! He's got one pretty big one on the edge of his land I'm itchin' to fall. :saw: My phone camera kinda stinks. The yellow color of the BL didn't come through to well. I had more than I thought. Thinking about putting it in here in the middle and going up. I’d like to have it all in one place.

Thanks. I will check it out. That one corner really concerns me. I think a wrap around or two might help shore it up and give me piece of mind.

That was a great time. Wife went along and the ride home was something we'll probably all remember for a long time. One song I really like came on and I turned it up a little and we all sang a verse together. It was priceless. The next day I took it a drive and I believe a front brake caliper is sticking. After the body shop gets done w/ it, I'll get it sorted out and deliver it back to her.

I was just sittin' here wondering what 12" would be like. I could load 2 deep. Sure wood make loading/lifting rounds much easier. Only concern is stacking. That might not be good for stability.

Perhaps do seasons worth of 16" and the accompanying shorts to see how it goes..
Ive never free stacked 12".....always heaped in the shorts shed, or tossed loosely between 2 rows of 16".
Maybe 2 12" rows close together with cross pieces to lend the stack stability?

Can't fit 16's x2 so that would mess everything up. I need to make everything the same length. I'll keep going 21". 2" at each end in the firebox should promote decent air flow. The 24's, well I'll just chalk it up to live and learn. Suckers sure are heavy and will probably be awkward to load. Can pretty much guarantee my stacks won't all over though. :salute:

Nice work Jason! Loving the BL stacks.
I wish weather would cooperate a little more for us. Looks like it might be a wash out for next 3 days.
You deserve a couple :coldone: after the days you put in.
