24-25 Firewood Usage

    2.5 cords Oct. til end Jan. We will probably burn 3.5 for the burn season which is a lot for us but there have been several very cold stretches! That leaves me with about 7 cords of seasoned wood left. I have also just processed 1.75 cords of green Doug Fir and am looking for more! 1.75cord.jpg Green Doug Fir

    House is ~10 Years old. Spray foamed. Native timber sawn on a Woodmizer.
    I heat a 1000²' uninsulated basement W 8" concrete walls
    And that gobbles the heat. I dont mind, I have unlimited wood on 40 acres. I suppose I could cut the heat to the basement if I needed to.

    1.25 cords ran through a TSC Chinese U.S stove's , sole source of heat, 1600sq ft home in central Va.
