I love .22 and ammo is still cheap. About $10 more a brick is all 34-36 a brick. I was never a fan of the ruger .22 even though my bro is. I liked the s&w versions 422 and 22A. Had many in revolvers too. Buy and plink and have fun cheaply.
Nope see the browning logo. That was second guess. I also say the 22/45 is hard to dissassemble having done mine a few times.
Grizz, nice choice. That BuckMark should work well for you, especially with large hands. I've had one or two in the past, no issues with function but they didn't "feel" right, but I have small hands. Now, start to source some extra magazines- you'll need 6 minimum. You'll see why after you start to shoot that thing. Stay with the factory magazines, aftermarket is ok, but factory is more better (and reliable). Ammo- no clue what that thing will like, so, if you have some on hand, let us know what it is and what it does. That will help. Common usage regarding ammunition- (a few) FTE- failure-to-eject- just means either the cartridge was weaker than normal, or you might have extractor/ejector issues FTF- failure-to-feed- factory magazines, you shouldn't have an issue. Weak ammo effects the above, which effects the feeding. .22LR ammo can be a "crap-shoot" with certain guns, but your BuckMark should be pretty omnivorous You made a good choice. We'll work on that front sight later.
Super Nice Grizz. I'm taking your enjoying this shooting stuff, going from a pellet gun to a 22 now. Fun aint it...
Good choice! Wear safety glasses shooting that thing....the action will spit powder back at you due to the design of the slide being open on both sides.
Pm me ur address....I'll send you some food for that thing if you need some. Great idea whoever mentioned it. Gotta keep the shooting sports alive.
How much ammo did they sell you with it? To those finding bricks for $35 thats way high but at least you can buy them. Also Griz it was tricky...didnt realize the pic was in the store. The Glock mat on the counter under it threw me till I zoomed in on what out said. Thought that was the box for it
Ain't that the truth! A federal judge just struck down California's waiting period as a violation of the Second Amendment. http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/5715443
Worst part is that I have to wait for it to show up in the mail, and our mail delivery schedule depends on when they get it sorted, since the workers go home before noon and sometimes the mail truck doesn't show up until 11.
We dont have waiting periods here in SC?? And dont have guns mailed to you either. I know as an owner of a gun you can receive it from or send directly to an FFL or the manufacturer but the laws are crazy on mailing the stuff.
