Sorry, looks like I forgot to post a picture of my awesome gift...if I had to guess, I would think this came from The Wood Wolverine (if so, thanks Jason). This Bluetooth speaker will be a welcome addition to my summertime beer drinking! It's seems rugged and it is weatherproof. Has great sound too...Thank you Secret Santa!

Wasn’t me Brian. I’ve been admiring the SS threads every year just waiting to get in with something hand made. Need to get off my lazy arse and start wood working again!

I was about to close my eyes for a short winter (nite shift) nap...
And what did my wondering ears hear...:ups::ups:
    Secret Santa made it here...
I think ol' Rudolph had mechanical trouble. Seems he was way up north and a bearing went out, he went by the friendly Innovative Services shop and let Screwloose fix him up.
Keith even had him deliver a NICE spotlight and card way down here to GA in the bearing box...:thumbs:... 1229221405.jpg

Thanks so much, definitely won't have a problem seeing my way around the woodyard now...

    damm, my elves suck.
I originally gave it to a friend to mail it out, he did and it was returned to him later package shredded with only the return label barely visible. I then asked my son to send it out and it looks like being stealthy isn't in his job description.
    Oh well Merry Christmas!

You're welcome :) Glad you liked it.

I guess you didnt see the message in the package. Amazon doesnt do a good job making the messages stand out lol.

""For a guy who comments a lot on the forum there wasn't much for me to go on regarding gift ideas lol. I recently picked one of these up for myself and was very impressed with the sound. Enjoy! Merry Xmas :) From BCB""

I emailed my gift to my SS victim. Apparently that is the way some companies do things now.
When he commented on my email address, I told him there was a story behind it and that I would share it later. Here it is:
as I was walking down the tracks one night at work I saw a chipmunk walking down the gauge. I shined my light on it, and it did not run away. I picked it up to move it off the tracks. It did not seem hurt/broken or smell bad. I tossed it in the air like a tennis ball and it just curled up and let me do it.
I found a safe place for it out of the way and never saw it again. I figured this was if nothing else, a Kairos moment and hence my Native American-esque email address, walkingchipmunk.

Thanks, brother. He tried. I brought it to work tonight and got it fully charged. That light is BRIGHT.

IMG_20221231_211015_(1080_x_1080_pixel).jpg I got home from work today and I had some packages on the kitchen table. One was from Texas Santa! Apparently our post office gave it to someone else. At least they brought it back!
What a cool way to end the year!
A big clam fossil, what I think is petrified wood, really cool!
A vertebrae from a dinosaur along with ancient hand chipped stone tools! A chunk of orange Osage, super dense stuff that is.
And if that's not enough a brand spanking new hand axe.
I've never had a "new" axe, looks too pretty to use !
    Thank you oh so much!!

Thanks to my Not So Secret Santa! You sir are too generous! I won't say who it is, I'll let him speak for himself, should he desire to do so. I'll just say I'm honored because I considered him my FHC hero way before his being my Secret Santa for this year. Blessings to you and your family! And rest assured your gift will be as well used as it is appreciated.
