An insider told me the word “Pacific” in the product name is slightly misleading…

Just saw the price of gs at a small hardware store, they've got them at 280/ton. Almost had a heart attack. I think it's going to be an expensive year. Fortunately, I've got 4 tons already for the season, all under 200 a ton. That should last me, I hope.

GS are now Home depots go to pellets replacing the "award winning long time Stove chows". (Joke). Anyways, 259.00 ton there yr after year..middle rd hardwoods..nothing special ever comes out of HD or Lowes. Have to keep the pricepoint low enough so people dont squak..

I had to travel some distance to try some of those LaCretes last year. I got 10 bags to try and really liked them. Unfortunately, those came in 1.2 ton pallets. My Explorer can only carry up to a ton at a time, so I couldn't take advantage of the price for the 1.2 ton pallets. I gotta get me a trailer so when the chance comes up again I can take advantage - especially for those deals that are found 40 miles away.

I hear ya. I feed on those LaCretes from HD a good part of the season, also one of the HDs had some rebranded EZblase but had to keep fighting with the garden department as how to keep them dry so we could actually buy them.
