That is what I had, never got bad enough that I had to get the shot. Watched my hunny get that shot, that was enough for me. Ice packs and stretching did wonders....

Since I waited too long before I went to the foot doctor, I got the shot which was immediate relief along with some meds for a month and the ice and stretching.

I had some issues with that a few years ago did the whole foot doctor thing didn't get the shot, got measured for inserts, they helped some, then I tried some of those copper ankle things they helped me more than anything else I am on my feet a lot and don't get the foot pain like I did before.

I finished stacking what was left of the split pine, I'm almost done with the second stack but will need to split more pine. We have some wind gust today and the pine rounds are close enough to a rotten dead standing pine that I'll finish it tomorrow.

It looks like we'll have some nice weather coming in starting on Sunday so I'm hoping that the last stack is finished before Tuesday. Once that is finished, that will give us two years of shoulder season wood up.

After the above work is finished, I'll get the stacking area for the ash ready and once that is done hopefully we can do some milling.

I only did three loads today so I'll finish this tomorrow, this will put us two years ahead on the shoulder season wood.

I split another three loads and then stacked it, after I run some splitter trash deeper into the woulds, I'll finish the stack.

I had noticed this chippy so I stopped and gave it some of my granola bar.

We have 75 on the northside of the house and 70 on the southside with a little breeze. The skeeters aren't bad on our house property but they're very bad on the lot I usually cut on.

I've been taking five bottles of water, apple an a granola bar with me when splitting, stacking or cutting but when I run out of water I call it a day.

The DEC officer showed up this morning, he confirmed no EAB but it's just a matter of time so the ash felling will start again this fall.

We talked about a bunch of stuff so he'll be sending me more info on certain things. We might set a time up when he can come back and take a look at the lot I cut on, maybe see what he thinks on some low impact logging to help out regrow but not taking away the cover for the wildlife if possible.

Our temp is at 74 with a forecast high of 79 so if I do any work, it will be some splitting underneath some pines.

We hit 80 today with another nice day tomorrow but the rain comes in on Thursday, I think the heaviest rains will stay south of us.

I stacked another two face cord of ash today, all the splits from the gully are gone so my runs will be shorter. Pic 9317 & 18 are some of the loads that came out of the gully, 9319 is when I started hauling from a different pile, pic 9322 is everything stacked from today, 9323 is the biggest pile of ash splits left that I hope to get four face cord from and 9324 is the smaller pile left that I'm guessing we'll get close to two face cord.

I still have some ash logs that will need c/s/s.

It's getting there T.Jeff Veal , if the weather allows then I should have ten face cord up before or by the end of this June.

I'm just pounding down some waters before I start stacking today, hopefully I get another two up.
