You're welcome brother! The rope and dowel isn't a sex trapeze I promise! It's a wood hauler. Let me know if you need help figuring out how to use it.:rofl:

Made it from memory based on the one my grandpa had when I was a kid.

OK, Backwoods Savage, I can do 4! clemsonfor , I have always used a lot of kindling, all the pieces of SC have to do is catch the "little stuff". I usually just use waste paper as tinder, the SCs will burn a lot longer. I'm happy! :D

I use lighter pine/fat lighter/heart pine. But my stove will hold coals up to 48 hours or so. Its very seldom, unless im out of town that i dont have a restart longer than that so i just stir coals. If i want to increase it i put a match to the fatwood and it takes off.

No fatwood here, and all I'm burning this year is seasoned ponderosa pine. I don't really need the SCs, but will gladly burn them while I brag to all my local firewood buddies that they are a free benefit of being an official FW Hoarder! :fire::thumbs:

Thank you Secret Santa! I received some Bali Blue Moon coffee, a coffee grinder and two mugs. I am going to enjoy some relaxing gourmet coffee. This is the world famous and FHC’s very own Coffee Snobs Roasting Co.

I am humbled for such a nice present thank you.

    Thank you
    Tom

I am saddened to say that my Secret Santa did not get their gift yet... :picard: (yep, I'm that guy this year.....)

But it will be coming shortly and I think you'll like it. :)

And I am pretty sure Chvymn99 had me? I think? Whoever it was? The wife and I are enjoying it now! :drunk:

The glasses have my name, username, and FHC etched into them and the Fireball bottle is also custom etched with my name, username, and the full FHC logo!! :dex: Thank you! Whoever it was.. Pretty sure it was Kevin though

Well, I finally caved in to my own excitement this evening and opened my SS package. It's postmarked Sparta, MI, so that kinda narrows it down as to who sent it, but I'm not 100% sure....

So I tore into it like a 10 year old, and what I found was REALLY cool and one-of-a-kind......a handcrafted tool carrier, fabricated from old chainsaw bars!! And to take it over the top, it's milled with the font "OVERKILL" on one side and "FHC" on the other side!

The handle stanchions are both made from old bar tips, and the floor is made from a piece of diamond plate steel!

I'm blown away, and proud to own it! I'll load it up with some of my commonly used chainsaw tools and keep it handy right on my workbench!

Thanks alot, I'm glad to own it!!

So, who's gonna admit being my SS? ;)

And if that wasn't enough to make my evening, a week ago I received another package in the mail where a few members here conspired together and made me another gift. One that was totally unexpected! This amazing camp hatchet that was made from a scrap piece left over from a modified Collins felling axe! Complete with a handmade walnut haft and hickory wedge!

Eric VW Fire Flake and fishingpol.....you guys are amazing, I'll cherish it forever. I'm gonna keep it in my gun cabinet and take it out on special occasions!! Guys, I owe yinz one.....big time. Merry Christmas to you all and to all my brothers and sisters on FHC!

I opened mine last night, it's been a whirlwind around here with all the kids and some issues across the street. I got a nice work gloves, a new safety can and a wonderfully old book (1907, from what I can tell) entitles Our Native Trees and How to Identify Them: A Popular Study of Their Habits and Their Peculiarities by Harriet L. Keeler.

    Thanks Santa!
