Thursdays haul and 1.5 gal in the pot to be finished. Still running well. Reloaded the boiler earlier.
Sad day today as we had to finally pull the pin. Had a great time though and will get the rest outta the woods tomorrow.
The oldest boy came out a few weeks ago to help collect and has it figured out. He also has access to all the Pex we'll need.
Doing a late Easter next weekend with the crew and gonna have the kids help out with the 45 gal boil.
Finished the frozen sap the other day and this was what we ended up with. Mrs Loon figures we ended up with 20.5 gallons? Not bad I guess for just some woodcutting guy that didn't have a clue what to do at the beginning of the season. Thanks again for the help Farmboy, Well Seasoned and XXL.
