    Update please... who is done, who's maple sugaring was reset when the temps cooled off again? Nights are in the teens here and daytime temps in the high 30's. Perfect for the sap to start flowing again?

    It finally warmed up enough yesterday muck and have about 40 gallons to boil down right now but today and tomorrow looks even better.:yes:

    Sap is still pretty slow but ended up with 1.3 gallons on the new boiler.:chef: :cheers:

    Having fun doing it WS.:salute:

    Did some mods to it today and cutting the time down even more.:yes:

    Had a couple calls stating that its flowing great but I must of tapped some elm as I haven't got a whole lot here at the house.:smoke:

    Its brewing now and should get around half gallon?:cheers:

    The blower is the catsass.:thumbs: and will be doing some more safety metal work this week with a new front door.

    Stove is around 3ft away from the walls but it got wicked hot today and will sheet it before the next boil.;)

    Nice the blower is working well! The evaporator is a great outlet for uglies. Before you know it, you'll probably invent a whole pellet evaporator or something. :yes:

    Works a little too well WS so I might shove something in the pipe to restrict air flow as its only 1 speed.:)

    Ya I've caught my sugar Shack on fire more then once lol when your chimney pipe is glowing red you know the sucker is hot!

    I think we have a bit of a reset here. I collected 95gal yesterday and it was testing 3.1% which I'm pumped about! Your sap should start flowing again if your in temps like that. As long as your trees haven't started to bud your good!

    Had to stuff an oil filter in the chimney for a damper the other day as it got just a tad red.:whistle::salute:
