It’s too middle temp right now for a fire. Probably later tonight, right now my fire is the splitter garbage outside. Gonna start get rid of this a little at a time. Nice heat and hopefully I can get rid of this before the rains come back but that isn’t likely. Best I can do is spread it out a little and find the chunkies.

Zoiks! Stepped off a plane here yesterday in shorts and sandals:eek:. Wife picked me up laughing! 37*. Couldn't get home fast enough. All I could think of was getting that stove fired up. Wife had a couple items left to get in our garden:picard:. I drained the outdoor water faucet (learned this the hard way over the years).
Finally the both of us teamed up on the dirty stove and got it ready. She was exited and I was to. Couldn't dream of a better way/day to have a first fire of the season!

It was 70 yesterday and today was to be about 48. Ran around Amish Country, including a big buffet breakfast with the best bacon anywhere, that's right folks, BACON!! It was rainy and never made it above 40 so when we arrived home
at 4 fire in the stove was a priority.
