    If I remember correctly all it needs is a line set and a winch over Backwoods Savage shouldn't be too difficult. :saw:

    They're not quite that strict.....the sleds are all made with skis but they don't have to be wood. Some years, we don't have much snow. Other years, we've had FEET of it.....

    This year we had around 10" of powder, it wasn't too bad.....

    If you remember, there is not much of a spot to drop it and therein lies the biggest problem.

    I'm pretty sure I could squeeze it in there with a winch, but I'd have to walk it off again to be sure.

    My biggest issue with it was the limited access to the back cut because of the washed out bank.

    That tipi is really cool. The First Nations people in our area built long houses that weren't quite as mobile. Huge cedar poles and cedar split planks were the components. I will have to ask around to find out what they used for the fishing camps.

    The Iriquois Indians (woodland tribes here in PA) mostly lived in long huts too.....

    Pretty sure tipis were mostly a plains Indian lodge....
