    Great story freak. Thanks for helping somebody out we sure do need more of that these days! My wife and I try to do a "pay it forward" type thing a couple times a year. Pay a couples tab at a restaurant without them knowing... Today I'm doing pretty good, but you never know what tomorrow brings!

    A family did that for my wife and I earlier this year. It was one of the first times we event out to eat with my son. He was probably a few months old. He was getting upset as I was holding him waiting on my wife to finish. I asked for the bill and they said there was not one. I had a puzzled look on my face as the waited walked away not knowing what that meant??? The manager came over and told us the couple sitting in that booth (who had left at this point) paid our bill. They said we looked like a nice young family and they wanted to bug our dinner. We were at Applebees. I can't remember if at the point I was originally told they were still there and the mgr was waiting g for them to leave per their instructions or that had left at that point already and he came over right after the server told me????

    Anyway I remembered seeing the couple. 10 years older maybe more than us and had a younger (8-9 maybe) boy and a girl that looked a bit older than that. Couldnt say thankyou or anything as they were gone. Just told us they had it done before and wanted to repay the gift. When were not so tight on funds I will do the same thing one day.

    Yep thanks. I had a slight guess it could of been you or pete...then the way pete was talking I didnt think it was him. Then I forgot you were in MI!!! And I didnt feel like going through all posts and looking for where people were from.

    Thanks again. I briefly shopped their website this weekend...still trying to decide what to get. I still think I will get Bean boots. I had a knock off pair about 18 years ago and been thinking about getting a new/real pair. Then heard the stories about how many they sold this year so it had it back on my mind!!!
