I’m surprised anyone even buys anything on Facebook anymore. I had the exact same thing happen to me today. A guy had a stove for sale on FB last night so I told him I wanted it and when is a good time to get it. He said anytime Sunday. I said 10 am. He said sounds good. I gave him my number and told him to call me if anything changes. He said ok. This stove was 4 hours away and I let him know I was leaving early to get there by 10. So I’m 3 hours into the trip and a FB message pops up. He says he doesn’t want to sell it now. Well that’s fine but he knew I was coming and could have phoned earlier before I wasted $75 in fuel. FB doesn’t care. This kind of behavior runs rampant on there. They enforce nothing. Something should be done. Once a deal is struct it there should be some way to enforce it. So I know exactly where you’re coming from. Im pretty sure I’m done buying on Facebook. I hope they fold up. Won’t happen but I’d love to see it.

BTW that guy did you a favor. That 6.0 is a time bomb.

Dakota Hoarder He did you a favor. Just too many red flags on that truck from the one picture. Maybe you had additional pictures that told a different story.
Had a guy on FMP that was selling a Jackson wheelbarrow. Twice in the ad he had $50. Once I got there and handed him the money, he said it was $80 and would not go lower. I took my money and wished him a fine day, hoping that the flies of a thousand camels would invade his armpits.

I've had a lifted truck for rock climbing and 4 wheeling and being out and about in the snow and it was absolutely worthless for hauling firewood unless the firewood was in a trailer.

That is/was a nice looking truck but I certainly wouldn't consider it a work truck. At all. Not the way it is set up.

friend had full size blazer back in the day lifted about 6", big knobby tires on it, drove that unit one time like riding on beach balls and unstable as sin, how the h he drove that around town beats me. frame on frame lift is one thing but a suspension or just a body lift is a bit of death trap. screws up the steering metrics something terrible.

Really depends on the quality of the lift kit. Rough Country or the cheapest lift possible is not where you wanna start. A good quality kit will keep all the same factory steering angles, so they ride like a factory truck for the most part.

Lifted trucks are not where it's at for work. A real pain to lift that extra 4-6" or get up and down the extra, weather it be in the cab or the bed. Add bigger tires and it gets worse. Air ride on the work truck. :dex:

Yes, because for some dumb reason, wheels like that are popular, to some people at least. I don't get it though.

Yeah, that's not how selling works. If you agree on a deal, that's the deal. Hopefully you can find an even better one, due less money.
