Same, I bought the 6 pack of big bottles last year and I’m just about to finish a second container. I wouldn’t mind running some Honda HP2 if the dealership wasn’t 20 miles away.

Stihl HP Ultra is down on my list. It won't kill an engine and won't gum everything up in a matter of minutes, however it burns much dirtier than most other synthetics. It's also only jaso FB certified. Give RedArmor a go if you want to stick with a OPE manufacturer branded oil. Ultra also smells like burning plastic.

I've had very good luck with Bel-Ray H1-R. Stuff seems to burn exceptionally clean and leaves a nice oil film on everything at 32:1.

If only a member who has done extensive real world testing felt able to weigh in on this subject. Minus all the salty tears from folks when their favorite oil didn’t stack up. Those fellers kinda have egg on their face now:whistle:

none of the really good stuff has been mentioned yet, but most 2 stroke oil at least won’t kill an engine if mixed in the 40-50:1 ratio range.

Stihl orange did better for lubrication, might be a bit dirtier than the ultra but that’s it.

Yep. 1st and only saw I fully ported. I had help from T4 Mike. He showed me how to set-up the degree wheel and shared #’s. You can see the little rings where I measured squish, the solder pulled away the goo.

Do you have pictures of the work? I've ported a few of those cylinders and they are amazing. So easy to work on and big gains.
I gave my personal saw the full treatment and then some. Jb weld can be used to do amazing things in a 2 stroke. I had to buy a new case after finding the original had an air leak. Still need to put it back together. I can't believe how well it runs. It has to turn north of 15k and it cuts like a lightsaber. The first time I ran it, I almost crapped my pants. I'll see if I can get a video of it running once it is back together again. The ports ended up big enough for me to get my fingers in them.
