Ever tried permethrin, Dave? I've had pretty good results with it. Two years ago was funny around here, had a mosquito breed I must have been immune to or something - for chewed quite a bit working firewood in the evening, but never swelled at the bite sites. wish every year was like that! I didn't know different years can have a different dominant population until Mr Savage pointed it out here. I thought I was just getting insensitive to the notes in my old age. Lol
