It could snow tomorrow and we would be ready as far as heating is concerned. Just not feeling ready to give up the warm summer I have been waiting for. Plus we have veggies coming in from the garden that has be just waiting to get my chompers on.

I'm easily ready for the coming heating season. Actually I'm ready for all of the heating seasons up through 2021-2022, potentially through 2023-2024 with what I have on hand now.

3 or 4 more cords will be lots of work but like me Im sure it will be enjoyable, especially that time of year. Ive never processed firewood for sale but was thinking of a truck load or two of lodgepole pine just for fun. I was just looking on kijiji and larch is going for $250 a cord here. Wow.

Burning season for me starts in 75-90 days. Wood is stacked and ready, and I should have enough for 5 years at least right now. At this point I have about 28 cords on hand - may cut more this summer but only after other tasks get done. Chimney and stove need cleaned out though - hoping to get that done this week or next.
