    Thanks
    I burn 6 to 7 per year

    30s at night now,
Winter could happen at any time now.

    Stacked the split stuff.
Got dark & slight drizzle as I finished
    Got a single row; 35' x 4'5" high x 17" splits.
    Bit over 1-1/2 cord.
    It's a start :)

No better weather or any warmer here. I have been burning on full for 3 weeks now and summer turned to early winter fast. Lots of rain, a record for Sept in PDX. Frost this week in the foothills, snow level has been pretty low here in the Cascades. At least you get your birch split fast. That stuff has waterproof bark, and I learned the hard way that it will just rot if its not split right away. Nice stacking, and nice moose photo.

Ya. Last year I guess I bought about 3-4 cord (craigslist deals) and cut split and stacked about 6-7. I have enough time, I just need to make it my first priority so I can c/s/s my entire supply for next year.

No sense in trying to kid us Dave. You are simply trying to train those moose. That way you can combine hunting with wood cutting. :)

I'm going to put in for a cow tag in that area for sure.
Fall a tree & moose come.
You might be onto something :)

Got another load yesterday, got back & unloaded at dark (so no pics).
Close to needing a new 3 cord permit. Maybe one more load.
    Cloudy but no rain. :)
    Windy today. Supposed to rain

The stack looks nice Dave ! Can you come and stack mine for me?

WS you know you've got it bad when you'd rather find a trailer full of wood instead of a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Sometimes it works for deer so it should work for moose. Give it a try Dave and let us know how it turns out, but wait until next year. You already filled your tag. ;)

Got another load .Got pictures this time.
The dual axle is working out much better. I really like having trailer brakes with 6 to 7,000 lbs behind the truck.
The drive to the cutting area, snow keeps creeping down the mts.

Room for a few more but loosing daylight & I'm tired
After a few loads, more wood toward the front works best

Right where I want to be.
    As usual Dave, love it.
How does the trailer ride with the ATV up front and loaded?

Had to work out the balance.
ATV not as heavy as wood so more wood forward to keep the tongue weight about right.
Maybe should've made the atv compartment in the back.

Big improvement for me is the electric brakes.
Huge control difference between the loaded single axle/no brakes & the dual axle.
