    Hey thanks for that info that's great... I got a lot of house chores to do, but I will be putting one of these HF motors on the splitter... it is actually my dads splitter, but he know I will give, split, and supply him with wood so he lets me keep it at my house... I am goin to put a little maintenance work on her so she will have last the rest of my life anyway... there isn't much to a splitter!!!

    Do these engines seem to give a good service life too..... how many years or how many hours have you guys got out of these predator motors???

    As I said MANY MANY cord through the one I had.. very reliable engines and well made. Same thing with my push mower. For around $100 you can't go wrong.

    I can't say hours in mine I never added a counter but I can say that my 20+ and the gentleman who bought it doing well over 200 says a lot for the motor...... He uses a boiler and also sells firewood. They are very reliable and well made engines.

    Also you might find a coupon on Harbor Freights website you can print off. I think they are around 119.00 but with the coupon I printed off it came to something like 94.69 + tax.
