This is a small mount. The 562 is large mount.

Well she arrived this morning... Took her home & only had 1/2 of a tank worth of full.. So in it went, and filled up the bar oil. Had too run her even if it was for a bit. So I Took it to the wood pile. WoW!!!!!:D.... I'm ALL Smiles. I really didn't know what to expect after having it ported and MM... Since I've yet to have a before and after comparison. But it's little vacation to Tennessee was well worth it. Can wait to get it into more wood.

My ported/dual port muffler 460 out cuts my big bore 660 in regular sized wood.
    460 has higher revs.

If I had known I would have just bought another 460.

I just wanted to see if my 660 port job beats a 046 randy did or not. He builds a mean 46.

You have the 024/046 that Randy won his 1st GTG with? Don't you? Or was that Neal? I thought it was you..

That 024 badge is classic. :)

That's Neal. I just wondered if my 660 port job on that one was on par or not.

I'll get something set up, should be fairly easy to do. Tell me what bar to use and what sprockets to use for the test.

24-28" and 7 pin probably be best. You could try an 8 on both.

There's room for improvement if the 660 is stock. Dual-port muffler for it would be a start.

It did, but I put a stock muffler back on. May do that to the 460 as well. Just too freaking loud.

Yeah... That would go over about as well as a fart in church.

Neighbors in 2 mile radius... "Your saw is too loud!"
Operator... "Oh well, put some ear muffs on"

In the woods its even worse. I had a guy on ATV come by a wood lot I was cutting on. He was camping 5-6 miles away and heard it.

I never cut wood less than a mile from a house let alone 5 miles. Well probably get more than a few miles from homes sometimes but probably not 5
