Getting closer..... [IMG] [IMG]
Now we grind......that piece of card stock is my guide......that tells me how high to cut the ports. [IMG] We also sand some stuff. :) [IMG]
I've picked up a few tricks.......and this is a good one to share. See those studs? They allow the jug to stay centered without bolting it down...
Now to mount the degree wheel. Gotta have a pointer.....I use SS Tig wire. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
Moving on..... [IMG] After cutting the squish band.... [IMG] And I'll cut .052 from the base, for a clearance of .023 [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
This is the only difference I found between the jug from last year's ill fated release of the 661, and this year's re-release. [IMG]

Some of you might know that the MS661 has not been released in the US yet........this saw wandered over from Canada somehow. [IMG] A very hungry...
The reason I'm doing this saw really sucks. As most of you probably know......our friend Phil has passed away. He was far too young to be leaving...
I just got home from NC........and Isabell took me for a walk right after cleaning my glasses with her tongue. Yeah, I'm her pet. :)
There's one on ebay........175.00 :(
And it's time for lunch.... Homemade vegetable beef soup that my daughter made.......yeah, it's really good. [IMG] damm.......just look at that...
A little machine work.... Here I'm cutting the plating from the inside outward......stops it from chipping when I cut the base. [IMG] Oh...
