That's been my experience. 13,200 is pretty much the average for mine. When I get over 13,300 the rpm reading bounces around all over the place.
Blasphemy. I makes me feel terrible. I'm starting home brewing this fall. And I can make a mean cornbread too.
I believe 14,700. Don't quite me. Mine is an NE. I think it would be happy around 14,200 but I'm going easy on it till it gets ported in October....
I don't wash my truck, but I clean my saws. I'm gonna end up with another 545/2252. I think you will end up liking that saw more than you would...
So far 13,200-13,300 is making me happy with the 7900
I use the Lucas semi synthetic. I like it just fine. And it doesn't stink. I would use belray but I hate the way it smells. Motul doesn't bother...
current max rpms for my saws: 346xp-13,900 262xp-13,300 7900-13,300 They all four stroke at these tunes and clean up quickly in the wood. Anyone...
I cant really tell when the limiter is kicking in. That's the only reason I got the tach. I put an unlimited coil on the 346 so I could be...
Picked up a fast tach today. Surprise me how conservative I've been with tuning. I'm really glad I've had the chance to here/feel what proper...
Everyone I show it to says it's the greatest thing they have ever seen. Can't wait until Saturday morning.
I'm cooking those Saturday morning on a griddle on my weber kettle.... and I'm gonna have a beer with them. That's right, bacon and beer all...
You can get a kettle to run at or below 250. Mines humming at 250° right now. Has been for 6 hours. From my experience with a digital thermometer...
A very expensive, very efficient grill/smoker. Nice but really a luxury not needed to make good smoked/ grilled food.
Maybe I'll bring you some nice smoked food to the Ga GTG. I guess I will as long as you bring the saws.
I guess lump vs. Briquette is next. I'll have to straddle the fence on that one!:seasoned:
Nice looking ribs too by the way.
Hope I can continue to inspire... hey that's a nice grill you got there. How did they turn out. I'm hit or miss on ribs. I feel better about...
Well they went faster than they cooked. 4 hours on the kettle. Kettles work great for 1-2 racks. These things take practice. These were my best...
I'll take some pictures....because I will definitely be there.
Sauce within the hour
