    Specs between the Z Rod and small engine oil are pretty close, viscosity and four ball wear test.

    I'm aware of that.. Since a lot of flat head small engines run flat tappets for lifters , I like the idea of running a high zinc oil such as the Z...

    Flywheel key sheared most likely during the sudden stop... It's great experience but for 19 dollars more , I would have opted for brand new.....

    Because they usually have a shroud set up so the carb gets some heat from the motor.. stops carb icing...

    That's a great price! I wouldn't even fool with the other motor...Just run a high zinc content motor oil like Amsoils Z Rod oil... It's extra zinc...

    Have 1/4 tank of oil ... tank was topped of last October... I should get something just for back up in case I stay in the woods one day....:smoke:
