I definitely would NOT recommend skip chain on a small powered saw for limbing.
My experience with echo is that they oil great. Much better than my Stihls. Small saw with a long bar oiling is usually the main issue.

This was not a bit of wash. Doesn't the fuel shut off solenoid take care of carb dribbling?

I use a rag and brass hammer to cover and smack the protrusion. No damage and it works. A couple of squirts is all it takes.
