    To the OP, have you cut with any 3/8 chain you have ground with your 520.....I know that I hate grinding lo-pro/picco chain, just a pain........

    Yes this is the way I do it, I have never used calipers or anything else....it's super simple and keeps the saw cutting straight!!!
