I think every softie i burn sticks to the sides. Even Doug firs. I just give them a smack few times a day. Deffinitly before bed.
HD has severed from the ole stove chows..green supremes have replaced them. Pretty sure they are under the Lignetics corp. May have retired chows...
GS are the Home depots go to pellets now replacing stove chows. No plus or minus.. high ash and medium btu. 259.00 here in Pa area

Your right.. might be my EzBlaze that are spruce..burned every softie available on the east coast and aside from Doug firs, those 2 are tops.

get 2 tons of Matra every year.. great Canadian softwood. also get 2 tons EasyBlaze softies...both excellent low ash high softies.!!
