Nice set up. I too like to keep the splits off the ground once the splitting starts. Always throw in a trailer and not on the ground.
Love me some "Ash". I usually take a file and a dremel with a power converter in the truck and can put that chain back in order very quickly.

I have never seen a Bradford Pear that big. When I split it we will see how twisted it is.
