Is your 357 the ported one in your signature? How does your 357 compare to your 562?
I ran Wigg's 361 a couple of weeks ago and my 562 and I didn't notice much difference. The 361 had a muffler mod and the 562 is stock. The 361...
You definitely have a good site here. Good info is shared without the bickering that goes on on other sites.
Sorry for the sponsor reference. I forgot which forum I was posting on when I made that post.
Try Tlandrum at Wicked Worksaw.com. He is a member here. The others I was thinking of are on other sites I am a member of.
The 2166 will pull the 24" b/c just fine. The 2172 will pull it better.
The 2166 has restrictors in the transfer covers that make it slightly less powerful. There are some site sponsors that could probably beat these...
The 13.4 lb wt for the 372 was for the old style 372 and the site never got updated. Husqvarna info must not ever get checked as far as specs go.
Watch the classified ads here on the site. There are usually some good used saws listed.
I bought the 562 that KRL posted about and it has been fine so far.
The 445 should be a 2.8 HP saw and a 455 should be a 3.5 HP saw.
The 2252/545 model is a good firewood saw. Not quite as much power as the 2253/550, but plenty of power for the 16-18" hardwood I use it for. I...
I think the 064 would be a good saw with the 038.
Terry Landrum has a sale going on for his ported saws currently. I believe the 2253 is included.
An earlier poster mentioned a used Husky 55 that he had for sale. This size Husky would be a good saw to match up with the 371. Buying used off...
Good that things are looking better for him.
That 365 and a 550 would make a very good firewood combo.
You have some mighty nice saws. They all look like good runners.
I believe you will enjoy it more than the 350 or 450. Save up and have Terry port it and you really like it.
I have always enjoyed reading. Since I discovered chainsaw forums, I can now use my reading hobby to learn more about my chainsaw hobby.
