Awesome!! Great job, man!
Lol The aftermarket muffler mentioned above- They are “ok” for this series but may require a spacer for 034 cylinders. Some have a baffle but a...
Darn it! I’ll go fix it for ya. Mennonite kids just don’t know how to put things back haha.
Lol. I loved getting those stickers in orders. During the height of the pandemic, they were sending multiple stickers and business cards for PPE…...
The ones I have here (034/036/360) do not have that deflector. [ATTACH]
Custom?
There’s a few options for 1125 mufflers. I’d replace the deflector as mentioned above. Check that the stamped steel options will cover the...
Depending on the saw, the drum does engage the oiler worm gear. Not sure on this model but I believe it doesn’t have a tang.
Yep, could be. It’s hard to see on my phone but it could be the wear (there’s a spec for that) or even the chain itself. Switch chains between...
Typically I replace spur sprockets due to wear on the spur. Occasionally I’ll see some that are worn on the inside where the clutch engages. Check...
If the chain doesn’t spin at or close to idle spec, the springs are probably fine. They can be finicky to tune depending on the carb and other...
That FW seal is now at a better depth for this series. Too deep and it can get too close to the bearing.
Seal drivers are good if you’re really into a series (see: BuckthornBonnie and 1125s lol). Not needed, though.
Sleep well! You did a great job, man.
No sealant needed for the case gasket. I use it… but I deal with rough cases a lot. Two stroke oil is fine instead of grease.
Yep. That tool I showed is the press tool. That’s the seal depth on 1125 series. Again, you may be ok. This one: [ATTACH]
Plus a pic of the circlip tool.
[ATTACH] This case is rough but one can see the seal area. There’s some wiggle room due to the fw configuration but it’s tight if not sent home....
Great job! Check the depth on the fw side. Was that where it was for you originally? Many stihl’s are flush to the case on that side, but 034/036...
Yep. Stratification is key.
