A "chunky monkey" (uglies) box.[ATTACH]
I think your calculation might be pretty close. Years ago I posted here a pic (too long ago, can't retrieve it now) of my Ford Ranger bed totally...
More things in the news about the Equifax breach: Some Equifax executives sold a bunch of their stock after the breach but before the company went...
Heheh, that's cool. I like the way you keep a splittin' maul in the company car "just in case". True hoarder.
The first of next year's scrounging then?
With apologies to Backwoods Savage, this could be the next thing!
Can't find milk crates here for vertical splitting. Found this very good alternative - they're found everywhere, perfect height, stable and........
That is a big heap of logs there and you have enough saws to handle it EASILY. Cool tractor.
Thank you for NOT posting pic's of this. Ya know the "pictures or it didn't happen" thing? We totally believe some posts without proof! Heheh
Nice catch there. It's cool how many 'splits' can come from each of those FAT rounds.
'Slottawood!
Rome wasn't built in just one day. Just keep at it as time & weather allow. Looking good!
Yeah, we have dunes. Mr. Savage isn't near these though: Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore (U.S. National Park Service)
Good catch - If there were only 1 kind of wood to burn, I'd want red oak. Well, maybe hickory then red oak. Heheh
Oh yeah, that's a beauty. You might be standing on 5 - 6 cords there. Looks like your 460 can do a 28" bar. Cool!
Heheh, they tip over when ya nail them hard with a riding lawn mower too. Twice now.
Yeah Oldman47, I must spend more time finding parallel splits for the cribbed ends and placing them than the actual stacking. And still they wobble.
Dat is a good haul. The stuff usually splits so easy and burns great. Nice easy score!
So we have ~ 7 cords, mostly white ash and a smattering of other usable species. That's counting uglies though.
Heheh, using a monster maul on a snake. Wanted to be darn sure it was neutralized. I love it!
