This was a large branch “elbow” sliced up. I was expecting double pith,,,,,not sure why it didn’t happen LOL One of the few pieces of BL left at...
Yeah sanded smooth as a baby’s butt and applied cutting block oil. Basically just an ultra pure food grade mineral oil. There’s a product called...
I gave away a bunch for Christmas last year. Sold the rest at a friends trinket shop. Angle slices. [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Yep, I’ve had stuff like that the 28 ton couldn’t cut thru.
Nice score. They probably would have left it there to rot.
I was thinking adjust to run it leaner. I also think you’re right. Running it slow all its life isn’t that good for the engine. Maybe the rings...
yeah it’s too fast IMO. There’s no need to put all the rest of the machine through that much extra stress. The conveyor belt alone probably costs...
Now that the motors out of the frame I was able to shine a light down the plug hole. Engine seems to have accumulated black carbon on the piston....
Theres always this. Then you could load logs too and do the splitting at home. [ATTACH] This pic was just getting it home. Honestly don’t...
Many years of BFH will fix it. In this case a spot light told me this was a tiny set screw behind the clutch. Luckily I bought a set of super long...
Another question. Before I pound the snot out of this clutch is there an Allen set screw behind it? I see a tiny hole. Can’t imagine a set screw...

I think you’re right but this motor is 2021. Not very old. But the top yellow wire does go to a ground screw. The black one ran inside the engine...
Aaaaand I brought the truck out to load wood. No run, no spark. I’m going to harbor freight to buy a Chinese motor,,,,,or another Chinese motor.
Problem solved. Opened up that wire pack, went to pull apart the black wire and I felt the end inside the engine give way. Tugged a little harder...
Thanks ;)
it might not even be the switch. I’m just assuming it’s related because it just stopped killing the engine a few days ago. Now it won’t start....
Thanks. I’ll try that in the morning.
It’s possible. I assumed that’s where the various wires are connected and just a way to contain those connections. Electrical is not my thing. Why...
Yes that’s a ground wire. 99.9% sure.
