Even if he had a kiln, that meter is out totally out to lunch...they don't even kiln dry lumber that low, no point in it, as soon as you take it...
I've got it piled up! Its so bad that they had to give me an extension on the last 40 hrs (in the middle of a major project) but as soon as that...

Take em to the local tire place (not sears/Walmart, a real tire shop) and have them foam fill them...or just put a tube in...

If you have fuel and spark then it must be a compression issue...or maybe crank seals...pull the muffler and get a look at the piston.
