Well i tend to disagree, cut a lot of wood in over 40 years, if its too big to handle i suppose but there is a lot of wood in those huge pieces...
I think its a positive they will let people burn dry wood, a lot of people dont know any better. Many people around here dont have a clue.
I have always felt you get enough wood out of the big pieces to make it worthwhile, in some ways its faster then the smaller stuff.
Your results may vary, a lot of people like it.
Oh yea, i have it on my property plus have it at a place i cut, been at this a while, it's red mulberry as as we dont have any white around here....
Believe me, it gets lighter then ash, not even close to oak, been burning quite a bit of it lately, its heavy as hell when cut.

Hate to be a wet blanket but not a big fan of mulberry, grows like a weed around here thanks to the birds. Takes longer to dry then ash and dont...
I have some wood in the shade but its really windy here most of the time so not that big of a problem. In the sun is much better though.
There are really nice people who take my wood in the middle of the night.
The reward for taking the extra time is well worth it. Burning wood that is not ready yet is like peeing into the wind.

My wood isn't so hard any more.
Wow, you guys are funny.
Ah, good point about the insurance. And the flash point of the wood as it gets dryer.
Its every man for himself, see you guys on the flip side.
I'm not going to shut down this thread for politics but would love to address a few things but i respect Scotty and his wishes.
What are your clearances for the sides of the stove, had a stove with shields on it and no way is it that close.
I keep all my flammables close to the wood stove, makes for a pretty fire.
