A wet paper towel dipped in stove ash is all I ever used.....works great and is basically free.

disconnect agitator motor power leads and run a test power cord to it to confirm it's not just a bad motor.....if motor runs, then possible bad board?
Might be the proof of fire (snapdisk) sensor isn't working. Try jumping the leads and then see if the room blower comes on. There's a pic of it...
