    Most of it...some still gets absorbed though too...an properly spaced (air cooled) heat shield will stop 99.99% of that though.

    carburetor cleaning

    Hondabrite bike cleaner works really well to clean up skunky carbs...just spray n soak, the longer the better (but a few hours max) then wash it...
