That's what came on it?! That's working pressure, or burst? Holy moly, that's the highest I've ever heard of on a splitter that wasn't full blown...
That's oddly high pressure...many/most box/farm store splitters won't actually do over 3k. Often times the hoses are rated for less than what they...
So the bottom is open, and air control flaps at the top?
If you were shifting into high pressure/low flow mode just from having a "too small" hose (OEM 1/2" vs 3/4") then the shift pressure was set WAY...
On my splitter build I switched to a cylinder with 3/4" ports and a larger hole drilled into the cylinder...the hole is larger, but only by maybe...
