Owned a few 084 166 3120. Only used them for ripping big ends into quarters (4 sections) for firewood cutters to manageable pieces to buck up....
28" has been out there in small mount as long as I have known for years. I'll just post oregon and not the other brands. 28" 280RNDK095 24"...
I know a guy that runs 22" K095 in Canada for his tree business too. I send him chain he cant get up there.
Dont think that was the reason. But believe what you like for going to large later. Cost cutting to 1 platform IMO.
24" K095 is easy to find IMO. I traded a 24" away because I like 20" better on 62-65cc saw. small K095 and large D009 to correct above info
Seeing the 262 reminded me. Had a 362xp split and built with new crank like that before. Just because they weren't made anymore and I wanted one...
Thats funny I knew the 346 was built by other. But not the 066. Lessons learned.
That POS said he did and took credit, but he didnt. He lied again ;). Saw was ported and built by Brent Combs from WV for the thief. Found out...
The re-builder did in WV. He is a racer and logger, family owned business. Porting handed down from his dad if I remember right. Good folks too....
That WV ported 084 saw got sold to rip hardwoods 2 states over with 49" or bigger bar. Guy loved it.

Not to railroad the other thread I posted the 066 084 16" pics in. Just a basic ported work saw from WV. Stock piston, no squish cut, nothing...
All 3 ported too. 1 084 had finger ports in it from way way back. Nothing new. ;):whistle:
