I did not intimate that you had an unrealistic expectation. Only that one cannot expect that porting will transform a saw into something it is not.
No porting investment will turn either of these saws into a 395 or 660. Sure they will run better than they did but they will still be 70cc class...
Stick with your original plan for next year. Doing so, will make your significant other much easier to live with!
