seams odd that saw chips are inside the cap, unless you kept cutting with it after it came off...............:confused:

these saws are a blast to "play" around with, they can still be had pretty reasonable and have lots of potential, here's one i redid a couple...

yep, that is old, but so is the ground we walk on, new discoveries in this country are still happening, i still like seeing how this country...
I still have a 394 that I'm not sure if I'm going to keep, or sell.............:D.............that would round out the three saw...

won't really harm anything, but you should try to stay with the right size mantle for whatever the CP (candlepower) is of the lantern.........
