Split all the oak this afternoon save for a few that need cutting. Bark on splits topped off a half cord rack. Stack is 4x6' double row....
Half cord load of BL heartwood (when I split large rounds I separate out barkless splits) delivered yesterday to my only original BL customer....

Norway maple. Comparable to ash in terms of btu's, splitablity (is that a word) and drying time. It is the lightest colored maple IME.
