starting with 5 tons in the basement... 2 tons Doug firs being delivered around jan-feb. so i'll be back up to 5 again.
few of those bags on top in the back got ripped a bit... my son stacked that sorta sloppy skid but help was appreciated... there is a ton of Doug...

burned some of the Olympus last winter... excellent Doug Fir...maybe a tick or 2 below the original Okanagan Doug Firs.
I assume you use a hand truck to haul them back to the house?

I noticed last year that a constant burn, either room/manaul or stove mode, the glass always stayed pretty clean. room/auto and i get a brown...
it's the only time my Harman glass get's dirty due to the on/off/on/off shoulder burning time..
heating season here in the northeast is around Oct 15th.. at least to conquer the chilly nights...

Put a box of damprid in the firebox area. I get inch of water in the box by fall.[ I do close off the exhaust and oak and still draw the moisture)...
ww Hamers changed over the years. Still bring good heat but lots of very coarse ash now. Not the 1st pellet to go from top shelf to drop in...
well of course...the worst ashy pellets on earth take less emptying cycles than a wood stove...
I think they mentioned that in an email to me but I thought it was a temporary stop production of the blend.
Oh yeah forgot another thing.original blaze bags had lots of fines which was my only single complaint. New stuff is pretty much fines free.
Forgot to mention that at 265 that's not a bad price at all for some very hot softies. I'm talking about the easyblaze super premium softwoods....
