I think you will be happy with the predator engine they also seem to be easier starting than the briggs hope you get up and running ok JB
I have put several of the predator engines on customers splitters and have had good results all the bolt holes are standard SAE pattern and line...
Would it be worth your while to stage a big pile and get someone with a log truck to haul it out to your place just to make it easier for you ?

It works well when you raise it to max height you get some that tumble back like any conveyor with firewood you get some jams but if you reverse...
Yeah he is a big help he has been working for me on sundays at the mill or working on the firewood piles which I have gotten way behind processing
Had help today Ricky Blazin was able to work today he gave the splitter a good workout I broke down some big rounds to run over the splitter first...
