Length undoubtedly plays a role in drying time. A 2" chunk is going to dry much faster than your average 16/18" split That being said, does it...

Worked on the pile a little more today. Got all the big logs cut and split, other than a small pile of stubborn knotty pieces that will be noodled...
Red oak and silver maple. Easy to split:D
