I completely agree with this assessment. I have a BR600 and a BR800. Seriously considered the 8550, but really liked the comfort of the BR800...

I agree Poplar (Tulip), stinks when burning. I don't mind it in the stove, but I don't use it in the firepit because of the smell when burning.
They are big ones! How are you moving those around? My experience with sycamores are they aren't light... It would be good exercise for you...

Yep that sycamore... Splits pretty tough too, if your not using hydraulics. Last sycamore I hand split convinced me I needed to buy a hydraulic...
