Birch is a gorgeous wood. Doesn't burn the hottest but man it looks iconic sitting in a rack by the fireplace.
Post oak looks like.. Leaves have the 3 lobes. .. Post is a white oak species

Itle be fine split most of it big while splitting smaller stuff like a qtr cord 1 inch splits for kindling. Season it at least a year n half...
