Looking for a 395xp project with scored topend and/or missing parts.
FYI, I got some 385/390 full wraps, and 562 3/4 wraps on the bay the other day, came with bucking spikes for $45 delivered. The 562 one also came...
I would guess it's a 440 with an 044 top cover because it has a flippy cap on the oil tank as well, I'm assuming it has a decomp valve that is...
So, is that a 440 with an 044 cover, or an 044 with 440 tank and flywheel case half? Either way, it's a great setup...
Thanks again guys, I have a saw in the works that my dad and I talked about for many years. I'm saving the cash now to buy it in his honor....

I'd be tearing the 026 apart, I've probably owned and ran 40 different 026s, I've never had one do that. My 550 doesn't do it either, but my 562 does.
Nope, it's very strange, it's only certain models, my 42, 242, 257, 272s, 288s, 372s, 385s, 390, 394s, 395s, and 3120, none of those puke bar oil.
That is the truth right there, I'm about as unbiased as they come when it comes to chainsaw brands. In fact in some cc classes there are Huskys...
