If the trunk grains look anything like the limbs, my old splitter is gonna do some grunting tomorrow
The trunk looked pretty dry when I blocked it up. I have a wood insert and empty the ash a couple times a week with hardwood. My father-in-law has...
I just burned sycamore for the first time last night. It was from a dead standing tree. I only burnt the rounds which were really dry and sounded...
My wife, kids and dog love wood heat. I absolutely love cutting firewood. My family farm is about a 30 minute drive and I cut wood about 2...
I’m trying to get on the 3 year plan. What I’m cutting now I’ll burn 2 winters from now. I stack all my oak and hickory together in one run. I...

I suggest the 241 if you need a saw to cut smaller trees and limb the canopy of downed trees. I ran mine stock for a year and really liked it. I...
How does your ported 362c run? I have a ported 241c and an thinking of getting the 362 also
I'm burning some red maple right now that was live standing timber in September 2016. Seasons quick and good heat output. I'm planning on cutting...
1 saw - ported ms 241cm. Mean little saw as long as you don't get into too large of timber. 2 saw - add a ms 362cm.
Good point. I started noticing I'd have to adjust my chain really frequently too. I guess I was creating torque in the wrong way.
The lowest tooth on my dawg got bent somehow. Upward cuts seem fine but when I try to use the dog the saw is less than normal. Could this bent...
[ATTACH] My dog isn't much of a helper but he is an awesome 207 pound quality control inspector to make sure I'm getting good heat output
