30” plus wood it shines ...
It drinks fuel no doubt ... but it also carves up Lotsa Wood real quick !
Only way to know for sure is to take it apart and look ... nothing ventured nothing gained
I can only speak to the 261c ... not sure if the carburetor version 261 has or not

There IS a baffle on the 261c sir ! Look at the top of your muffler when it is removed from jug - you will see tiny resistance welds ... this is...
It’s kinda pita to split ; remove baffle and put back together but worth it imho for the gains ... does make it LOUDER though !

FWIW ... in my area a ported 461 with a 32” b/c or a ported 441c with 28” b/c pretty much covers all but the largest trees ... your mileage may...
She’s a runner ... like I said I used her primarily for bucking big rounds and for that job she did purty - good !!! Don’t really need 3/4 - full...
