Here's the update on NORTHEAST pellets . I did a little research I'm pretty sure it an all softwood and I think when he mentioned blend he meant...
They kinda look like North Country a tad dusty with an average amount of fines for a crumbaly type pellet. We'll see how they burn tonight.
Ok gonna try some Northeast pellets from Maine at Lowe's . They look like a plae soft wood . Anybody been using these yet .

I hate to admit it but I find the Chows are burning great this year , But ! unfortunately HD staff still brutalize them which I told them directly .

You're right just Stove Chow . From what I seen last year it seems they start with SC and then end with FSU in some Home Depot's
I noticed the same thing a few years ago , not kidding but up to 2 1/2 inches . It's seems they're back in the normal range now.
I have the CB 1200 myself in the basement with no OAK and all is good . I did make a few holes that are covered with a screen mesh above the back...
I really liked Vermont's last year they burned as hot and clean as all the top competitors and I think the price is responsible.

Definitely damp basement and I'm sure outside vent is left uncovered in the Summer so all that humidity can roll right in .
